Jason Todd Schroeder, 47, of New Baden, IL, born September 17, 1978, in Belleville, IL, died March 26, 2026, at his residence.
Jason worked as a heavy equipment operator in the Union Local 520, and was very knowledgeable about his job. He was deeply involved in the NA community, always willing to do anything for anyone and enjoyed helping others. Jason loved music, travelling, camping, fishing, boating, and ATV riding. In his younger years, he enjoyed working in the shop with his dad and going hunting. Above all, he had an amazing sense of humor and was a wonderful father and devoted husband.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald John Schroeder.
He is survived by his loving wife, Chayeleigh Schroeder, nee Pickard; three children, Adam Schroeder, Owen Schroeder, and Ashlyn Schroder; his mother, Deanna Sue Schroeder, nee Keller; two brothers, Jeff (Lisa) Schroeder and Callan Schroeder; a sister-in-law, Cierra Pickard; mother of his children, Trisha Schroeder; and many dear nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Knights of Columbus, 5420 Old Collinsville Road, Fairview Heights, IL.
