EAST ST. LOUIS – East St. Louis School District 189 is celebrating National Assistant Principal Week this week, and one of those who stands out is Kim Jones-Riley. Jones-Riley is an Assistant Principal at Gordon Bush Alternative Center in East St. Louis.
The East St. Louis School District 189 singled Jones-Riley out for her leadership and impact on students and staff.
The Gordon Bush Alternative Center Principal Darnell Spencer praised Jones-Riley for her “unwavering commitment to both students and staff,” adding that she brings “a calm, solutions-oriented approach to every challenge.”
“One thing that makes Kim Jones-Riley truly exceptional is her unwavering commitment to both students and staff, paired with a calm, solutions-oriented approach to every challenge,” Principal Spencer said. “Her leadership has made a difference by fostering a positive school culture, strengthening instructional practices, and ensuring that every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.”
The East St. Louis School District 189 thanked Jones-Riley “for your dedication, leadership, and the positive impact you make every day.”
