Helen Mae Campbell, nee Scabavea, 96, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, January 6, 1930, in Mt. Vernon, OH, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at her residence in Belleville, IL.
Helen worked in Defense Communication for Deco Communication at Scott Air Force Base. She was a member of Prospect Park United Methodist Church in Fairview Heights, IL. She was an entertainer for local establishments and nursing homes. She loved her family, gardening and John Denver, the outdoors, traveling and helping people.
She was preceded in death by her:

Visitation: Visitation from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Prospect Park United Methodist Church at 9300 Ritchfield Rd. in Fairview Heights, IL.
Services: Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Prospect Park United Methodist Church, with Rev. Karen Oplt officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
