Nancy Michelsen, 94 of Troy, IL, born February 9, 1932, in St. Louis, MO and passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Granite City, IL.
Nancy spent over 40 years in the Troy Community. She had a love for animals and cherished all of her fur babies throughout the years. Nancy enjoyed the simple pleasures, especially sharing coffee and fellowship at McDonald’s and other local spots. Nancy was ready to go to be with her Savior Jesus and was able to find peace in her faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woegen Michelson; and her parents, George and Rosalie (nee Gerard) Grafe.
Surviving is her son, James Wilson of Johnston City, IL; her three grandchildren, Erin, James Jr. and Kristin; her five great-grandchildren, Ariel, Hope, Kaydin, Collin, James III; four great-great-grandchildren, Oliver, Paisley, Isaac and Isaiah and her special friends, Mark and Donna Sanders.
