Linette L. Cagle, 91, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 1:21 a.m. Thurs. Apr. 30, 2026 at Evercare of Edwardsville in Edwardsville, IL.
She was born Dec. 24, 1934 in Highland, IL to the late Albert and Agnes (Bircher) Kustermann.
Linette retired from CPI after more than 30 years of service.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Cindy Schuessler of Granite City, and Gwen (Gary) Krukoski of Minneapolis, MN; 2 grandchildren: Jill (Matt) Gregory, and Robert (Erin) Krukoski; 5 grandchildren: Wyatt, Brady and Jacob Krukoski, and Addison and Emilia Gregory; and a sister: Marie Martin of Edwardsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Russell “Rusty” Schuessler; a sisters: Delores Hanvey; and 2 brothers: Orville and Richard Kustermann.
