Adult Man Dies After House Fire

ST. LOUIS COUNTY – St. Louis County Police and regional bomb and arson investigators are investigating a fatal house fire that left an adult man dead early Monday, June 22, 2026, in the 2500 block of Palm Drive.

Officers from the North County Precinct responded at about 5:30 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2026, to assist the Florissant Valley Fire Department with a house fire at the residence, according to the St. Louis County Police Department. When officers arrived, they found the victim inside the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and detectives with the St. Louis Regional Bomb and Arson Unit are leading the investigation.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation and has not been determined, police said.

Authorities said the investigation is active and that preliminary details may change. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
