Edna M. Fox, nee Shaw,95, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, March 24, 1931, in Matthews, MO, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.
Edna was one of 9 children and married her husband, Jeff, in 1948. Known to her family as the best Nana, her family of 4 daughters grew to a legacy of 38. She was a homemaker, former cake maker (beautiful wedding cakes including the best carrot cake!), and member of Sterling Baptist Church. She loved her family (including church family), line dancing, hosting luncheons for friends, and playing Skip-Bo.

She blessed our lives with her life, her laughter and her love. She will be missed beyond measure.
The family owes a debt a gratitude to the ICU staff at BJC for their compassionate care for not just Edna, but the family as well.

Visitation:Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2026 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
Services:Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Ed Ingram officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
