The Chamber encourages participants to review the complete list of accepted and non-accepted items before attending. Collection guidelines, accepted electronics, television fees, and additional event details are available at troymaryvillecoc.com/e-cycle.
The Troy and Maryville events are made possible through partnerships with CJD E-Cycling and The Shred Truck, providing both electronics recycling and secure document shredding. At the Troy event, the Chamber is also partnering with State Representative Charlie Meier to offer tire collection, while the Troy Lions Club will collect unwanted prescription medications, used eyeglasses, and hearing aids.
The Chamber would also like to recognize the sponsors helping support these community collection events. P. Frank’s Dumpster and Tri-Township Public Library are sponsoring the Troy event, while Tri-Township Public Library is also sponsoring the Maryville event. Their support helps the Chamber continue providing convenient recycling opportunities to residents throughout the community.
“These events continue to grow because of the incredible support from our community partners and volunteers,” said Dawn Mushill, President/CEO of the Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob/Marine Chamber of Commerce. “Our goal is to provide residents with convenient opportunities to responsibly recycle electronics and other materials while helping protect our environment. We encourage everyone to take advantage of these community events.”
Residents are encouraged to arrive with their items organized and ready for unloading to help keep traffic flowing efficiently throughout the collection events.
