Randy Beasley, a spokesperson for the event, described the convention on the C.J. Nasello Our Daily Show! as a community gathering with a wide range of attendees.

“Everyone is included in the show: adults, teens, kids all one big community,” Beasley said.

Beasley said the event is not focused solely on autographs.

“We’re not really an autograph show,” he said, noting the $12 entry fee and free parking.

He said the convention includes “prime comic book vendors” and artists, and said attendees can expect costumes throughout the event.

“You can see all the cool costumes,” Beasley said.

The event also includes a cosplay contest with cash prizes for first, second and third place, according to information provided. Beasley said some winners may receive tickets for the next year’s event.
