Brittany Nicole Dobler, 21, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 5:11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in Florissant, Missouri. She was born March 16, 1998, in Maryville, Illinois. She was a hostess working at Morton’s Steakhouse in St. Louis and had previously worked at Ruth Chris Steakhouse in St. Louis. She was attending Southwestern Illinois College looking forward to her future in nursing. Brittany was very artistic and leaves behind many amazing paintings and drawings. She had a love for kids, always perfecting her make-up and techniques and cherished her family and friends. She had a strong personality, very outgoing, contagious laugh and a forever remembered smile. Her beautiful eyes could pull you in or send you running. She cherished her puppy, Harley and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Kristine and Brian Smith of St. Jacob; her father, Timothy Dobler of Granite City; a brother, Austin Dobler of St. Jacob; grandparents, Joyce Toussaint of Glen Carbon, Robert and Shirley Dobler of Bradenton, Florida, Charles and Christine Barnett of Asheville, North Carolina and Floyd and Betty Smith of Troy, Illinois; many aunts; uncles; cousins; other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Harold Toussaint.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon on Sunday, November 10, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 11, 2019, with Reverend Sandra Cavins Monroe officiating.
