Quentin D. Lauer, 68, of Belleville, IL, born September 2, 1956, in Belleville, IL, died Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Quentin was the current president of the Swansea Improvement Association. He enjoyed bowling and loved dressing as Santa at Christmas time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Quentin and Hazel, nee Gansmann, Lauer.
Surviving are his loving wife of 36 years, Diane Lauer, nee Meyer, whom he married on May 13, 1988; his five children, Brian (Rhiana) Stuart, Tom “T.J.” Stuart, Jason (Sara) Stuart, Justin Stuart, and Matthew Lauer; five grandchildren, Sidney (Will) Kollmar, and Leah, Shyane, Ariana, and Joesephyne Stuart; three great-grandchildren, Elijah, Elena, and Lilah; a sister, Kathleen (Bruce) Boxdorfer; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2024, at St. Henry Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating.
Entombment will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Mausoleum, Belleville, IL.
