Michael D. Wiley, 75, of Marissa, IL, born Friday, January 21, 1949, in Sparta, IL, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Michael was a Maintenance Foreman, Machinist, Welder and Mechanic for Peabody Coal Co. and Stumpf Welding in Mascoutah, IL. He was a Veteran in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his:
- Parents: Vernon Orlin and Ruth Madeline, nee Craig, Wiley
- Brother: Clement Wiley
- Sister: Yvonne Gill
Surviving are his:
- Wife of 55 years: Flodia Ann, nee Hatton, Wiley of Marissa, IL
- Daughter: Dia Renae (Michael) Bolandis of Collinsville, IL
- Granddaughter: Hollie Bolandis
- Dear nieces and nephews
Funeral: Private Family Services with Army Honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
