Eunice Elizabeth Mullins, nee Gravelle, 94, of Belleville, IL, born June 21, 1930, in Lawrence, MA, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Parc Provence Senior Living, Creve Coeur, MO.
Eunice grew up in Fitchburg, MA, and attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School. She worked alongside her sisters at Fitchburg Yarn.
Eunice loved to sing and dance, and it was at a dance where she met a young airman named William Mullins. They were married in 1952, and Eunice provided a loving home for the Mullins family in England, Germany, Thailand, and many other bases in the United States where the Air Force sent them.
Eunice was a joyful and happy person and loved jewelry and all things that sparkled. Her eyes sparkled even more, with kindness and warmth. She belonged to many Air Force Wives Clubs, did years of volunteer work, and performed in choruses, in musical theatre productions, and for the USO.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William L. Mullins, whom she married on August 23, 1952, and who died on June 1, 2019; her parents, Arthur and Martha, nee Nasby, Gravelle; a son, William Jr. “Buddy” Mullins; two brothers, Eugene and Cam; and seven sisters, Rita, Honey, Cecile, Theresa, Constance, Florence, and Gloria.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Mullins, and his partner Chris Schwartz; a brother-in-law, Herman Mullins; a sister-in-law, Nancy Mullins; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Christ the King Chapel located on the grounds of Our Lady of the Snows Shrine, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Christ the King Chapel, Belleville, IL, with Fr. Michael Powell, OMI, officiating.
Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
