Mildred L. Vollmer, nee Miles, 84, of Belleville, IL, born January 11, 1941, in Coulterville, IL, died Saturday, May 10, 2025, at her residence with family by her side.
Mildred was active in taking care of Eagle Cliff/Miles Cemetery. She helped orchestrate luncheons at Cathedral of St. Peter. Mildred loved the outdoors and working on puzzles. Above all she enjoyed devoting her life to taking care of her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Stephen and Eva E., nee Hamilton, Miles; and a sister, Evelyn Meder.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Frank E. Vollmer, whom she married on December 26, 1958; four children, Rosemarie (Clay) Bunch, Frank (Laurie) Vollmer, Janet (Neill) Munie and Kenneth (Dawn) Vollmer; ten grandchildren, Clara, Amy, Katelyn, Mackenzie, Frank, Wesley, Austin, Taylor, Cassidy, and Courtney; 12 great-grandchildren, Aaden, Ashton, Shelbie, Jillian, Mabrie, Paityn, Jaxson, Averie, Millie, Hudson, Anderson, and Emerson; two brothers, Stephen Miles and George Miles; a sister, Slyvia Hoffman; and many dear nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Belleville, IL.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Belleville, IL, with Fr. Godfrey Mullen, OSB officiating.
Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
