Light a Candle during the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows Novena. Having a votive candle lit is a beautiful form of prayer, especially during our 9-day Novena to Our Lady of the Snows. The light from the candle is a powerful symbol of Christ and serves as a reminder of Mary’s reflection of Christ’s light, the “Light of the World.”
