Heather Jewel Crews, age 38, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri. Born on May 24, 1987, in Memphis, Tennessee, Heather brought light and love into the lives of everyone she met.
A devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Heather was known for her boundless kindness and radiant spirit. She never met a stranger, her warmth and generosity made everyone feel like family. Whether offering a helping hand or sharing a heartfelt laugh, Heather’s presence was a gift to all who knew her.
Heather was a gifted painter whose creativity flowed into every brushstroke. She found joy in crafting beautiful things and even greater joy in sharing them with the people she loved. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by family and friends, cherishing the simple pleasures of togetherness.
She is survived by her beloved son, Logan Carter Day of Granite City, IL, loving parents, Robin (Bennett) Will and Larry Crews (fiancé, Kim Pope), both of Granite City, IL; her beloved brother, Cody Crews; her cherished step-grandmother, Diana Crews; and her treasured step-siblings: Anna (Martiz) Crow, Toni Will, Jessica Will, Jessica Barron, Jacquelyn Barron, Antonio Barron and Kira Peppers. Heather also leaves behind a wide circle of extended family and dear friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Heather’s final wish was to be cremated, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date to honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
