
GRANITE CITY – Two area men were charged on the same day with knowingly possessing stolen vehicles, yielding felonies against both in Madison County.
Jason R. Warden Sr., 45, of Granite City, was charged on. Nov. 13, 2025, with a Class 2 felony count of offenses related to motor vehicles.
On Oct. 27, 2025, Warden allegedly possessed a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox bearing an Illinois vehicle registration number, which he was not entitled to possess, while knowing the vehicle to have been stolen.
Warden was granted pretrial release from custody in the case presented by the Granite City Police Department.
A St. Louis man was charged with the same offense in a separate but similar case also filed on Nov. 13, 2025, in Madison County.
21-year-old Da’Sean A. Barrow-Henderson was also charged with one count of offenses related to motor vehicles, a Class 2 felony.
Barrow-Henderson is accused of knowingly possessing a stolen 2021 Ford Edge bearing an Illinois vehicle registration number, which he was not entitled to possess on July 13, 2025.
The Glen Carbon Police Department presented the case against Barrow-Henderson, who was also ordered released from custody pending trial.
All individuals charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
