Granite City Man, Area Woman Charged After Alleged Stabbing Incidents

COLLINSVILLE/GRANITE CITY – Collinsville and Granite City Police have filed felony charges against two after separate incidents of stabbing on the same day.

Audrie B. Lively, 19, listed as homeless out of Collinsville, was charged with a Class 3 felony count of aggravated battery on Dec. 29, 2025. She allegedly stabbed another individual in the chest with a knife on Dec. 25, 2025.

A petition to deny her pretrial release from custody was filed by the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office. According to the petition, Lively stabbed the victim during an argument, and the incident was reportedly observed by a witness and captured on video.

Lively currently remains in custody at the Madison County Jail pending trial in the case presented by the Collinsville Police Department.

In a separate case filed on Dec. 26, 2025, 20-year-old Lee L. Daugherty of Granite City was charged with one count each of aggravated battery (a Class 3 felony) and domestic battery (a Class A misdemeanor).

Daugherty is accused of causing bodily harm to two individuals on Dec. 25, 2025, including stabbing one victim in the shoulder with a knife and committing an act of domestic battery against a household or family member.

The Granite City Police Department presented the case against Daugherty, who was ordered remanded to jail for his initial appearance in court.

All individuals charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
