O’FALLON – Ellison Camfield is a determined student.
For her hard work, Ellison Camfield is a College Prep Station Student of the Month for O’Fallon Township High School. Camfield, a senior, is a member of Future Business Leaders of America. She has served as the president of the organization for the past two years. She has qualified for nationals three times and won first place in their state competition this year. She has participated on the school’s cross country team since her freshman year, and she also enjoys being a part of the track and field team. It takes a lot of responsibility to manage school and sports, but Camfield makes this look easy. She was named to the track and field academic all-conference team, which is a major accomplishment. Camfield was recently inducted into the National Honor Society, which requires high grades and many hours of community service. She enjoys giving back and helping others whenever she can. She has also maintained her spot on the high honor roll, which makes her very proud. She is involved in the Letters of Love organization and the Friends of Rachel organization. She gives back through these groups. Outside of school and her extracurriculars, Camfield works for the district as an aftercare employee. She also enjoys being outside, snowboarding, completing needlepoint projects, and spending time with her family and friends. She has big plans for the future. Her loved ones and teachers can’t wait to see her succeed. “I am planning to attend the University of Arkansas and I am majoring in finance,” she shared. Congratulations to Ellison for this recognition from College Prep Station and O’Fallon Township High School!
