Today’s Weather: Breezy and warm with plenty of sun

Tuesday starts mostly sunny and mild, with early temperatures in the low to mid-50s and a light southwest breeze. It should feel a touch warmer than the thermometer at times this morning, making for a comfortable start as the sun gets higher.

By afternoon, the warmup gets rolling. Skies stay mostly sunny to partly cloudy as temperatures climb to a high near 81. Southwest winds increase to around 14 mph, with gusts up to 32 mph, so it will be one of those days where loose papers and lightweight patio items may want a backup plan. Rain chances stay very low at just 4 percent.
