Michael K. Tonnies, 61, of Belleville, IL, born October 7, 1964, in St. Louis, MO, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026, at his residence.
Mike served his country in the United States Navy for five years. He then became a Union Laborer with Collinsville Local #44.
Mr. Tonnies was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Gloria, nee Rickner, Tonnies.
Surviving are his loving wife, Sue Tonnies, nee Stine; three daughters, Molly Muir, Natasha Schott, and Brianna (Dustin) Galbreath; six grandchildren; a sister, Mary Kay Tonnies; a nephew, JD Tonnies; and dear friends, Jimmy (Denise) Walker, Bob Boze, Paul VanRossum, Lynda Karczewski, and Joey, Carroll, and Griff Baker.
