Traveonne M. Clark, 40, listed as homeless out of Granite City, was charged on June 12, 2026 with two counts of unlawful failure to register as a sex offender, both Class 2 felonies.

As a sex offender who lacks a fixed address in Madison County, Clark allegedly failed to report weekly in person to the Granite City Police Chief as required under the Sex Offender Registration Act. He reportedly failed to register on two recent occasions – once on May 28, 2026 and again on June 12, 2026.

Clark was previously convicted of unlawful failure to register as a sex offender in a prior Madison County case from 2024. As of this writing, Clark’s name still does not appear listed in the Illinois State Police Offender Registry.

The latest case against Clark was presented by the Granite City Police Department, and he was ordered remanded to jail for his initial appearance in court.

All individuals charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
