Warm, Humid Wednesday Forecast Includes Chance Of Spotty Afternoon Storms

Wednesday starts partly sunny and quiet, with temperatures in the upper 60s early and very light wind. It will feel a little warmer than the thermometer right away, with feels like temperatures in the low to mid-70s as humidity stays high.

By afternoon, the day turns hotter and stickier, reaching a high near 87. Sunshine will mix with building clouds, and there is a 55% chance of rain with a spotty thunderstorm possible later in the day. Winds stay light out of the southeast around 6 mph, with occasional gusts near 8 mph. If you are outside for long, it may feel as warm as 99 at the hottest part of the afternoon.

During the evening, any isolated storm chance should fade, leaving a warm and humid setup with a quieter sky heading into the night. Overnight looks mainly clear to partly cloudy, with a low around 70 and only a small 3% chance of rain. A light south-southeast breeze will continue.

Thursday brings a hotter and stormier pattern, with a high near 90 and a low around 71. Expect a humid day with a better chance for afternoon and nighttime thunderstorms, some of them heavy.
