Milton Aaron Anderson, 75, of O’Fallon, IL, born on March 10, 1951, in Memphis, TN, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026, at his home in O’Fallon, IL.
After high school, Milton joined the military at age 24 and was stationed in the Philippines where he met the mother of his children. He proudly served during Desert Storm as an Air Force Sargeant. Milton was an avid sports fan, though his love ran deep for the St. Louis Cardinals. He also liked to play chess and tell stories filled with laughter. Milton was a frugal man who quietly kept to himself and held onto his love for his late dog, Bo.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Payne and Lovie Anderson.
Left to cherish Milton’s memory are his two children, Anthony (Jennifer Haefeli) Anderson, Anika (Daniel Zofness) Anderson; three siblings, Alberta Moore, Calvin Anderson, Irving Anderson; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at Schildknecht Funeral Home; 301 S. Lincoln Ave., O’Fallon, IL 62269, with Rev. Doug Munton officiating.
Private burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
