SOUTH COUNTY ST. LOUIS – Officers from the South County Precinct responded at 7:17 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2026, to a call for service for a motor vehicle crash, according to the St. Louis County Police Department. When officers arrived, they found that an SUV and a motorcycle had been involved in the crash.

Preliminary investigation indicates the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Lemay Ferry Road when he was struck by a vehicle traveling south that was making a left turn into the parking lot of a business, police said.
The motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead, police said. Authorities did not identify him beyond describing him as an adult male.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to police.
The St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and Accident Reconstruction detectives are handling the investigation. Police said the investigation remains active and that details may change as it progresses.
