
GRANITE CITY – Madison County authorities have reported a wide variety of items stolen in recent weeks.
Dustin M. McCallum, 38, listed as homeless out of Granite City, was charged on July 9, 2026, with a Class 3 felony count of theft.
Between June 17 and June 23, 2026, McCallum allegedly knowingly stole two “Pokémon collectible albums filled with Pokémon collectible cards,” according to charging documents. The stolen cards reportedly had a total value exceeding $500.
In a separate case from July 2, 2026, 32-year-old Anthony F. Sandella Jr. of Granite City, also faces a Class 3 felony count of theft. Sandella allegedly stole another individual’s HP Envy laptop computer, valued at over $500, on May 3, 2026.
McCallum and Sandella were each ordered released from custody pending trial, with both cases presented by the Granite City Police Department.
In another unrelated case, 43-year-old Arthur S. Zumwalt of Staunton, Ill. faces a Class 4 felony count of retail theft under $300, his second such offense.
Zumwalt allegedly knowingly stole a St. Louis Cardinals jersey worth under $300 from The Pink Elephant in Livingston, Ill. on June 23, 2026. Charging documents note he had previously been convicted of retail theft in a prior Madison County case from 2007.
Joshua M. Clark, 42, of Alton, was charged on July 9, 2026, with one count of theft, a Class 3 felony. From Jan. 18 to March 8, 2026, Clark allegedly stole over $500 worth of scrap metal from Mike’s, Inc.
The South Roxana Police Department presented the case against Clark, while Zumwalt’s case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. Both were ordered released from custody pending trial.
All individuals charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
