Allen Stacey Hannel, 61, passed away September 2, 2026 at his residence in East St. Louis.
Born January 20, 1965 in Greenville, IL, he was the son of Orville and Dorothy (Vincent) Hannel.
Allen had been a self-employed diesel mechanic for many years.
He is survived by a son, Stephen Hannel of East Alton; two daughters, Stephanie Miller of Jacksonville, NC, Lori Garcia of East Alton; sterp-son, Joseph Lawrence of Wood River; nine grandchildren; and two brothers, Randy Hannel and Bill Vincent both of Litchfield.
His parents preceded him in death.
Cremation rites were accorded.
No services have been scheduled at this time.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River entrusted with arrangements.
