In the other, he faces counts of aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer, reckless driving, driving on a revoked license, domestic battery and theft.

A judge signed an arrest warrant and ordered Mundy held at the Madison County Jail for an initial appearance.

The Alton Police Department thanked the Metro East SWAT team, Illinois State Police, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Wood River Police Department and East Alton Police Department for their assistance.
