Cathy J. Copper, 69, of Granite City passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was born to the late Anthony and Mary (Lucido) Greco on June 30, 1953, in Woodriver, IL. Cathy met Eugene Copper in 1970 and they were married on December 14, 1973, in Granite City, IL. Cathy was part of the Mitchel Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary and she enjoyed camping with her husband, playing games, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Cathy is survived by her husband Eugene Copper, a son: Tony (Kira) Copper; 5 grandchildren: Kayla Randenour, Kile Randenour, Grayson Copper, Luca Copper, and Cade Copper; a brother: Thomas (Debbie) Greco; and 2 sisters: Terry (Tim) Loyet and Patty (John) Mooreand many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Cathy is preceded in death by her daughter Christy Ferguson.
Cremation services were entrusted to Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory.
