Kathleen M. Offt, 63, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Granite Nursing and Rehab in Granite City, Illinois. She was born March 11, 1957 in Granite City, the daughter of the late Edward and Shirley (Potillo) Lane. She married Ronald R. Offt Sr. on May 6, 1977 in Granite City and he passed away on August 8, 2006. Kathleen retired from the United States government after 30 years of dedicated service as a secretary. She was a faithful and devoted member of Niedringhaus United Methodist Church in Granite City and Job’s Daughters. She loved playing the piano and singing and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Paulette Lane of Granite City; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Offt Jr. and Brandilynn of St. Louis; a daughter, Jennifer Offt and fiancé, William White of Granite City; a grandson, Maxwell Offt of St. Louis; other extended family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to The HIKE fund, Inc.
