Eugenia Marie “Gina” Collins, 51, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 10:59 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born June 30, 1968, in Granite City, Illinois, a daughter of the late Charles J. Collins Jr. and Vonda (Tackett) Collins. She enjoyed her plants, had a love for dogs and cherished her grandchildren. Gina will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends. She is survived by her life partner of 20 years, Donald Moseley of Granite City; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kayla and Ryan Lancaster of O’Fallon, Illinois and Marissa Graves of Clayton, Missouri; two sons, Damien Gibson of Granite City and Aaron Duncan-Collins of Granite City; five grandchildren, Brayden, Wyatt, Grayson, Avery and Ayla; a sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Mark Wiesehan of Granite City; a brother and sister and brother-in-law, Daniel and Lisa Collins of Los Angeles, California; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Collins and Charles Collins III and a sister, Lydia Collins.
In celebration of her life, a graveside service will be held at St. John Cemetery on Nameoki Road in Granite City on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. with Reverend Charles West officiating.
