BASEBALL
JERSEY 10, CIVIC MEMORIAL 7: Jersey scored three runs in the first and two more in the second to go ahead 5-0, but CM scored five in the third and two in the fourth to take a 7-5 lead. The Panthers tied the game in the bottom of the fourth with two runs, the scored three in the home half of the sixth to defeat the Eagles at home.
Abe Kribs led Jersey with two hits and three RBIs, while Hayden LaPlant struck out three on the mound. Jacob Flowers led CM with two hits and two RBIs, while Chase Butler struck out four on the mound.
The Panthers are now 15-5, while the Eagles slip to 13-9.
O’FALLON 14, ALTON 2: O’Fallon scored seven runs in the first, two in the second, and five in the third to take the Southwestern Conference win over visiting Alton.
Alex Pilger had two hits and an RBI for the Redbirds, while Anderson Kaufmann had the other two hits. Fletcher Groppell fanned three on the mound.
The Panthers are now 14-8, while Alton goes to 10-11.
BELLEVILLE WEST 9, GRANITE CITY 2: After spotting Granite City a 2-0 first-inning lead, West scored once in the first, three in the third and sixth, and twice in the fourth to win at home.
Both Tuff Bradley and Andrew Willaredt had two hits each for the Warriors, while Michael Terry had the only strikeout on the mound.
The Maroons are now 10-8-1, while Granite goes to 9-10.
WATERLOO 2, TRIAD 1: Triad scored its run in the top of the second, while Waterloo countered in the home half with its two runs, and the runs stood up the rest of the way to give the Bulldogs the win at Triad.
Brody Hasquin, Nathan Klucker, and Keegan Seipp had the hits for the Knights, while Nolan Keller fanned eight in a complete game on the mound.
Waterloo is now 11-4, while Triad is now 15-3.
ROXANA 4, MARQUETTE CATHOLIC 0: Roxana scored all four of its runs in the fifth inning to take the win over Marquette at Roxana City Park.
Both Max Autery and Mason Crump had a hit and RBI each for the Shells, while Brad Herrin struck out 12 on the mound in throwing a no-hitter. Tony Matthews had the only strikeout on the mound for the Explorers.
Roxana is now 15-4, while Marquette goes to 8-11.
In other games played on Wednesday, Oakville, Mo., from south St. Louis County, shut out Columbia 4-0, Mascoutah defeated Highland 15-0, Gillespie turned back Breese Central 6-3, Pawnee won at Greenfield Northwestern 10-5, Belleville Althoff Catholic nipped Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran 1-0, Belleville East defeated Waterloo Gibault Catholic 7-0, and Freeburg won over East Alton-Wood River 19-0.

In a meet played at Granite City on Wednesday, Collinsville nipped the host Warriors 5-4.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
In matches played on Wednesday, Belleville West won over Metro-East Lutheran 25-18, 25-10, and Collinsville held off Granite City 30-28, 25-23.
