Ronald L. “Ron” Meyer, 90, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, February 27, 1936, in Belleville, IL, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Hampton Manor Senior Living in Punta Gorda, FL.
Ron worked as a Supervisor/Maintenance Planner for Ameren U.E. Rush Island Power Plant. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL, St. Clair Lodge #24 A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Bodies, Ainad Shrine, Hospital Unit, Hospital Transportation Unit, St. Louis Jazz Club, Metro VW Club and served in the U.S. Army, 602 Missile Battalion “D” Company, Rockville, MD.
He was preceded in death by his:

Services: Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor Rob Dyer officiating. Entombment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Mausoleum, Belleville, IL.
