East Alton Police Department Released Description Of Suspect Wanted In Shooting Saturday Night

EAST ALTON – The East Alton Police Department released information regarding the suspect wanted in the connection of the shooting that took place Saturday night in the East Alton Ice Arena parking lot.

The suspect is described as a black male, late 20s, early 30s. He fled northeast on foot. As of Sunday morning, the suspect has not been apprehended. The two shooting victims were taken to an area hospitals for treatment.

The Twin Bridges Lighting Hockey Team released a statement that read “We ask for your prayers tonight for one of our families involved in a shooting outside East Alton Ice Arena. To respect the privacy of the family we cannot release any other details at this time.”
