HIGHLAND – Alice Hegger loves to give back.
For her kindness, Alice Hegger is a Platinum Transportation Student of the Month for Highland High School. Hegger, a senior, is a positive presence at her school. She has made a big impact on the school community by showing up every day and leading with kindness. Hegger has a part-time job and teaches a weekly yoga class to young children. She loves working with kids and sharing her passion for yoga with them. She also regularly volunteers at the Glen-Ed Food Pantry, the St. Louis Area Foodbank, and Treehouse Wildlife Center. It’s important to Hegger to give back, and she does as much as she can to help other people whenever possible. In her free time, Hegger enjoys hiking, painting and playing pool with her friends. She spends a lot of time outside and in her community, which is a great experience for a high school student. She knows exactly what she plans to do after high school. Her loved ones and teachers can’t wait to see her succeed. “I am going to attend Illinois State University and major in interior design with a minor in architecture,” she shared. Congratulations to Alice for this recognition by Highland High School and Platinum Transportation!
