Sara Ann Luberda, nee Amann, 46, of Freeburg, IL, born March 1, 1980, in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Mrs. Luberda had a career that spanned over 30 years in the healthcare field. During this time, she worked for many doctors. She also enjoyed her trips to the Caribbean.
Sara was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul J. and Gert Amann; her maternal grandparents, Lewis and Claudine Abbott; her grandparents-in-law, Andrew and Helen Luberda; aunts and uncles, Janie Abbott, Lewis Abbott, Jr., Paul and Debbie Amann, and Margie and Jack Amann.
Surviving are her husband of almost 17 years, Nathan Luberda, whom she married on October 3, 2009; her parents, Richard and Barbara, nee Abbott, Amann; a brother, Peter (Jennifer) Amann; a sister, Kristin Fox; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Daniel and Susan Luberda; a sister-in-law, Ashley (Douglas) Hynes; two brothers-in-law, Austin (Katie) Luberda, and Riley (Ashley) Luberda; three uncles, Tim Abbott, Don Amann, and Charlie (Mary) Amann; an aunt, Joyce (Kirk) Grice; eight nieces and nephews, Avery and Tyler Amann, Kaleb McDavid, Miles Hynes; and Baylee, Carsen, Alexander, and Madelyn Luberda; and her furbaby, Bullet.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the church.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.
According to Sara’s wishes, cremation will follow the services.
