Keith Joseph Wineinger, age 57 of Highland, IL, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland, IL.
He was born on Tuesday, December 31, 1968, in Alton, IL, the son of Robert and Mary Lou (nee Hawkins) Wineinger.
Keith was born in Alton, IL. He was a graduate of Worden High School. Keith earned an Accounting Degree from SIUE. He owned and operated Hi-Tek Solutions in Highland, IL. Keith provided accounting services and designed websites for Highland residents and businesses. He enjoyed basketball, playing video games and loved animals.
Keith is survived by his mother, Mary Lou (Fiancé-Jerry Stahlschmidt) Wineinger (nee Hawkins); sister, Denise (friend-Scott Bergesch) Wineinger; brother, Kevin (Fiancée-Sherrie Hickman) Wineinger; nephew, Tylor Wineinger; niece, Kyrsha (Tyler) Stevens; great niece, Jazmine Wineinger and best friend, Justin (Hillary) McLaughlin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Joseph Wineinger.
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, Pastor Matt Embry, officiating.
Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to Metro East Humane Society, HSHS Hospice or American Cancer Society.
