
Dale Edward Vandiver, 93, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, November 7, 1932, in Crystal City, MO, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Dale worked as an Insurance Agent for Farmer’s Insurance. He was a member of St. Matthew Church in Belleville, IL. He was a member of St. Clair Lodge #24 AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Ainad Shrine, and Past Toast Masters. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.
Dale loved his family and enjoyed visiting with them. He enjoyed traveling, playing golf, and dancing was always a favorite of his.
He was a true servant of God. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville for over 60 years and served on many boards including the Session and Presbytery. He also served as President of National Presbyterian Men; which took him many places including Korea. He served with his wife as leaders of Marriage Enrichment; traveling and holding seminars. They served together as National President’s and then National Executive Secretaries of Presbyterian Mariners, a family organization within the Presbyterian Church USA. He currently was attending St. Matthew Church in Belleville.
For more than 40 years, Dale served generations of clients for Farmers Insurance at The Vandiver Agency in Belleville. He had many achievements and awards and was a member of Toppers Club and was recognized in Farmers Walk of Fame. He also served as President of the Eastside Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, NIAFA.

Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday May 4, 2026 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL with a Masonic Service starting at 7:00 p.m. and visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Kurrus Funeral Home.
Services: Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday May 5, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Swickard officiating. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
