Dr. Paul Martin Biegler, DMD, 74, of Millstadt, IL, born August 9, 1951, in Belleville, IL, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Swansea, IL.
Dr. Paul Biegler is a 1972 graduate of the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science degree. He later graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1976, with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Paul started his own practice in downtown Belleville, IL, in 1977. Paul was a dedicated dentist for 50 years and loved serving his patients.
Paul loved playing his guitar and was a train enthusiast. He spent many joyful hours making model trains and was proud member of the Gateway Garden Railroad Club. He was a former member of the Belleville Boy Scouts and the Dental Association. Paul was a wonderful father and grandfather and loved his dog, Ryleigh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Virginia, nee Burke, Biegler; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Emil and Verena Rensing; and two brothers-in-law, Warren and Frank.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 42 years, Janet Biegler, nee Rensing, whom he married on June 4, 1983; a son, Brad (Caroline) Biegler; a daughter, Chelsea (Kevin) Moghtanei; four grandchildren, Henry Biegler and Olivia, Chase, and Ruby Moghtanei; a brother, Kevin (Molly) Biegler; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ed, Marvin (Susie), Dottie (Jerry), Nancy (Kurt), Dolores, and Jim (Kathy); his aunt, Doris Heckerman; and many dear cousins.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026, at St. Henry Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating.
Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
