Today’s Weather: Warm start, late shower chance

Tuesday starts mostly sunny and already mild, with temperatures in the upper 60s early and a light NNE breeze around 1 mph. It will not take long to warm up, and by late morning the sky turns cloudier as the day heads toward a high of 78. It may feel a little warmer at times, closer to 81.

By afternoon, clouds take over and a light shower could pop up late in the day, with rain chances around 55 percent. Winds stay fairly light from the ENE at about 7 mph, with gusts near 14 mph. The setup is not a washout, but it is a good idea to keep an eye on the sky if you will be out late.
