The charges were issued on Thursday, June 18, 2026, against Marissa Thomas, 37, of the 7000 block of Blue Mountain Drive in St. Louis, and on Monday, June 22, 2026, against Christopher Stewart, 35, of the same block, authorities said.

Investigators believe there could be additional victims and are asking anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Thomas or Stewart to contact St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives at 314-615-5400.

Thomas was charged with second-degree statutory sodomy, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, creating substantial risk, fourth-degree child molestation, and two counts of furnishing pornographic material or attempting to furnish it to a minor. She is being held on a $2 million cash-only bond with no 10% option, according to the prosecutor’s office.

According to a summary of the probable cause statement, officers on June 18, 2026, responded to a residence to execute a search warrant and found the home of Thomas and her boyfriend in what authorities described as a state of potential inhabitability. Officers found rodent and animal feces, exposed insulation, and other unsafe conditions, the summary said.

The probable cause summary said Confidential Victim 1, who lives at the residence and is younger than 12, said in a forensic interview that she saw multiple nude images of Thomas on the child’s iPad. During the investigation and forensic interviews, Confidential Victim 1 also said Stewart subjected the child to sexual acts on multiple occasions since Jan. 1, 2024, according to the summary.

Confidential Victims 2 and 3, who do not live at the residence, said Thomas had previously shown them a video of at least two adults performing sexual acts, according to the summary. Confidential Victim 2 also said that when she was younger than 17, Thomas allegedly committed an act of inappropriate physical contact against her, the summary said.

Confidential Victim 4 said Thomas previously performed a sex act on him when he was younger than 17, and a minor child of Thomas witnessed the act, according to the summary. A witness told police they saw the act take place, the summary said.

Stewart was charged with first-degree statutory rape or attempted statutory rape, two counts of statutory sodomy or attempted sodomy involving a person younger than 14, and two counts of fourth-degree child molestation. He is being held on a $300,000 cash-only bond with no 10% option, according to the prosecutor’s office.

According to a summary of the probable cause statement, officers executed a search warrant on June 18, 2026, based on a report from the Children’s Division. Stewart lives at the residence with his girlfriend and multiple minor children, the summary said.

The St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons is handling the investigation.

The prosecutor’s office said the charges are accusations and that both defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
