DUPO, Ill. – State Representative Kevin Schmidt (R-Millstadt) recently hosted his first CPR Certification Event in Dupo, providing community members with hands-on training and lifesaving skills to use during emergencies. Schmidt said the event was a tremendous success and thanked everyone who attended.
“I want to thank everyone who attended this important event in Dupo,” said Schmidt. “Through hands-on, in-person training from a certified CPR instructor, each participant now has the knowledge and skills to respond confidently during an emergency and potentially save a life.”
All 23 attendees successfully completed the course and earned an official certification of completion from certified CPR instructor Carissa Heise.
