Ronald “Ron” David Barlock, 75, of Granite City, IL, born May 22, 1951, in Granite City, IL, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones.
Ronald was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran and served in Vietnam. He was a dedicated member of Faith Baptist Church, Belleville, IL, where he served as a former Youth Pastor and a bus minister. He also served as a minister in Salem, IL. Ron was very faithful man who loved the Lord and his family. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and banjo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Jeanetta, nee Finley, Barlock; his brother, Harry; and a sister, Donna.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Sheila K. Barlock, nee Adams, whom he married on April 11, 1970; his son, Bryan (Brandy) Barlock and their children, BJ (Morgan), Brandt (Hannah), Blayke (Paris), Bayker (Fiancé, Kayla), and Basia; his daughter, Amy Ybarra, and her children, Austin, Hunter, and Ethan; his son, Aaron (Amanda) Barlock and their children, Mackenzie and Madison; his son, Adam (Elisabeth) Barlock and their children, Makaela (Connor), Ella, Benjamin, Avery; six great-grandchildren, Beau, Marleigh, Bentley, Ellison, Lurabelle, Rhodes, and one more great-grandson on the way; three sisters, Debbie (Kevin), Diane, and Dawn (Bruce); and many nieces and nephews.

Service: Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Faith Baptist Church, Belleville, IL.
A funeral procession will leave Renner Funeral Home at 9:45 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2026, for a 10:30 a.m. Burial with military honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
