Shirley Ann Oker, 68, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Thurs. Aug. 8, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family while under hospice care.
She was born Nov. 22, 1950, in Carrollton, IL to the late Pauline (Beer) Lamkin and Milo Madison.
Shirley loved to draw, do puzzles, bowl, and dance and especially spending time with her girls.
Survivors include 4 daughters: Cheryl Haynes of Granite City, Sherry Sunderland of Fairview Heights, IL, Sheila Vasquez of Granite City and Alysia (Andre) Hill of Collinsville, IL; 7 grandchildren: Maria, Ashley, Terry, Brittany, Timothy, Enrique and Aria; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother: Marvin (Janet) Madison of AR; and a sister: Donna Sullivan of CA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers: John, Gary and Bud Madison.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at 4:00 p.m. Thurs. Aug 15, 2019, at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Scott Fick officiating. The private family will be at Roselawn Memory Garden in Bethalto, IL.
Memorials may be made in her name to any Liver Transplant organization.
