ST. LOUIS – Accident Reconstruction investigators are examining a fatal two-vehicle crash in St. Louis’ Kingsway East neighborhood that killed one person and injured four others Tuesday evening, Aug. 4, 2026, according to a preliminary investigation.
Police said the crash happened at about 7:20 p.m. Aug. 4, 2026, at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and North Euclid Avenue. Investigators said a BMW 330i traveling westbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive violated a stop sign and struck a Mazda 6 that was traveling northbound on North Euclid Avenue.
The driver of the Mazda, an unidentified woman, was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
Authorities said her family has been notified, but her identity will be released after the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department completes its identification process.
Three passengers in the BMW, two 22-year-old women and a 33-year-old man, were taken to a hospital and were listed in stable condition, according to investigators. The driver of the BMW, a 22-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
