WOOD RIVER – The Cheesecake Lady Bakery Co. is a new brick-and-mortar dessert business that opened at 333 North Wood River Ave. The owner is Deborah Shultis. They offer cheesecakes, cakes, cookies, and banana nut bread.
” I started doing this out of my home around 2017, I started making Creme Brulee cheesecakes and that was the only cheesecake I made and my husband said these were so good you should sell these and I said Yeah ok, and then a lady at my church asked if I sold them after I brought one to a event and after that I decided to try it. I started with just creme brulee now I have 100 flavors”. said Deborah Shultis
During their grand opening on Saturday, they had a constant line out the door and sold out at 2:00 p.m.

They also offer custom cheesecakes and cakes and they offer event services if you are hosting a birthday, corporate event, or special occasion. They offer free delivery within a 25-mile radius for orders over $100.
They are open Monday – Saturday 11:00 a.m to 6:00p.m and closed Sunday.
