Civic Memorial Lady Eagles Put Up 15 3-Pointers To Beat Waterloo 69 to 43

BETHALTO – Civic Memorial Lady Eagles came out and put up 15 3-pointers on Thursday night to help the lady Eagles beat Waterloo 69 to 43 in front of a big crowd in Bethalto.

In the first quarter the Eagles had six three pointers and was able to jump out to a 26 to 5 lead. Kelbie Zupan had nine of her fifteen points in the first quarter. In the second quarter the Eagles pushed the lead to 45 to 19 to go into halftime. In the third quarter the Eagles extended the lead to 61 to 37. Aubree Wallace took a half-court shot at the buzzer and the basketball found the net to take the momentum into the fourth quarter. In the final quarter the Eagles outscored the Bulldogs 8 to 6.

Zupan led the Eagles with 15 points while Hannah Meiser had 12 followed by Wallace with 11 points. The Bulldogs were led by Norah Gum with 21 points. The Eagles are 11-0 and take their unbeaten record to the Visitation tournament. \
