Animal Warriors – Roxana Host 2nd Annual PAW-TY In The Park Saturday

ROXANA – Animal Warriors- Roxana hosted its second annual PAW-TY In The Park Saturday at the Roxana Park. Over 40 vendors were on hand for the event.

Animal Warriors- Roxana is based in Roxana and is a 501c3 non-profit organization specializing in reuniting lost pets with their owners and providing resources to pet owners so they may keep pets in their homes. They provide families with resources to help get their pets spay/neuter, micro chipped and vaccinated at low cost. Assist with humane trapping of lose or feral animals and provide Education and Resources to pet owners/local authorities/youth.

PAW-TY In The Park had food and drink vendors, live music, 50/50 tickets, basket raffles and a dunk booth and games for the kids. The money raised Saturday went to helping the animals.

” Our organization mission is to keep pets in the family’s homes. People who are a little under privilege don’t have the funds if an emergency happens and we are here to help them with that.” Sara Mcree Co-Owner of Animals Warriors-Roxana

They had music and live demonstrations throughout the party. Chris Schuneman kicked the Pawty off with his 50-60’s music. Then -Allie from LaBest Pet Resort, put on a dog training program to show off Mable’s skills and beauty. Princess Belle with Princess Party took the stage for the kids. Then Rolling Southbound took the stage and played southern rock.

“We organized this to bring our community together and try to bring the pets out, earlier we had a shot clinic. We put this event on to try and raise money to hopefully bring a spade and neuter clinic in and try and control the pet population. Owner of Animals Warriors-Roxana Kim Warren said.
