Bethalto Fire Department Homecoming Kicks Off This Weekend

BETHALTO – The annual Bethalto Homecoming kicks off Friday night and runs till Monday. The homecoming is behind the city hall in the Bethalto Park. The money raised goes to the Bethalto Fire Department Volunteers for equipment or different projects throughout the year.

On Friday, The Glendale Riders, take the stage and will play from 6pm till 10pm. On Saturday, Throw the Horns, will take center stage and will play from 6pm till 10pm. On Sunday, Steve Ewing Band will play from 6pm till 10pm, and to close out the homecoming on Monday Screaming Eagles will play from 1pm till 4pm.

There are 24 vendors this year at the homecoming and they range from selling food to crafts. The Bethalto Fire Department will be selling fish, fries, onion rings and soda at the fish stand that is located by the band stand.

Luehers Carnival rides will open at 6pm on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, the rides open at 1pm and on Monday the rides are open from 12 to 6 and every ride is 1 ticket on Monday.
