Granite City Police Department Works Shooting Thursday Afternoon

GRANITE CITY – Granite City Police was called to an apparent shooting at 25th Street and Nameoki Road in Granite City at an apartment complex. 

ARCH was called but they left the scene without a victim. It is not yet known the status of the individual injured in the incident. The area around where the incident occurred has been shut off to traffic. The apartment is in the Granite City Housing Authority projects.

Granite City Police was joined at the location by Granite City Fire Department, Madison Police, Venice Police, Madison County Sheriff’s Office and ARCH Medical Transportation.
